What a shame. I used to come here all the time, and even came here a couple months ago. I'm not entirely sure what happened, whether a change in recipe or staff, or a cheapening of ingredients. The tonkotsu ramen was always to die for, and this time it tasted like sadness. Even just looking at the difference, the new one has so much less color in the broth, uses soggier and less quality mushrooms, and their bok choy was not cooked properly. The broth was the worst part, it tasted like hot water with salt. The tea eggs seemed very different as well. They were extremely salty, and the person I ate with commented that it was as if they took pickled eggs and brined them. It was overwhelmingly salty. The ramen noodles are also different and not as good as they used to be. I'm including pictures of what the ramen used to look like before, and what it looks like this time. Also, I noticed their prices went up with their ramen at least. What a difference, and what a shame to what was my favorite ramen place.

Speakeasy Ramen was an experience from the very first bite. I ordered the pork belly with shrimp bowl, and the flavors in that broth absolutely exploded in my mouth. Rich, savory, perfectly seasoned, and layered with so much depth β every sip tasted like comfort with a kick of bold flavor. The pork belly was tender and melted effortlessly, while the shrimp added the perfect balance and freshness to the bowl. Together, everything blended into a flavor combination that was unforgettable. The noodles soaked up every ounce of that amazing broth, making every bite better than the last. If youβre looking for ramen packed with flavor and soul, Speakeasy Ramen definitely delivers. Easily one of the best bowls Iβve had!

Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Some of the best pork I have had. Unfortunately that's where the compliments end. The Pork both was bland and flavorless and thats the heart of a good ramen as it permeates and provides flavor to the rest if the dish.

Our family came on a slower evening while traveling through Ohio and had a fantastic experience. Service was very nice and down to earth. The food is absolutely amazing and they really accommodated my current dietary needs. We will make this a part of our trips in the future.

It is hard to find a very good ramen shop in Ohio but this is one of the best. The tonkotsu broth was very good. The noodles and ingredients were cooked perfectly. It was slightly under salted imo and I wish the broth came out a bit hotter to the table. The takoyaki was decent but not amazing. The manager was very friendly and knowledgeable. The service surprisingly fast and efficient. The star of the show was by far the meat. You get two big pieces of pork which is very generous. It was melt in your mouth delicious and still had an unbelievable char on it with smokey notes. Whoever made this give yourself a pat on the back and keep doing an amazing job!
